Cruised around Buccaneer Archipelago with a commentary from the driver, Ben, and one of the traditional owners, Donna. Got up to speeds of 30km/h so it was very exhilarating. Learnt lots about the area and had a look at how fast the tides run around here. Great tour.
Then we did a pearl tour, where Ben explained the process for farming the pearls. Ended in the show room with a $18,000 necklace and a $190,000 single pearl. Shame I forgot my Visa card or Pam would have been treated to the item of her choice.

ReplyDeleteThis is the third time that I have attempted to write a comment here. I wished Pammy a happy birthday, I cracked a great joke about Luke not knowing how to fish because he doesn't know to use rods or hooks - loses its momentum after 3 times! Said how great the photos are and the scenery looks amazing. Reminds me of Karajan so apologies if these comments turn up elsewhere a few times
ReplyDeleteKeep up the big efforts in the comments, love hearing from you. Love Pam and Vernon
