To El Questro

Up at 4.30 this morning to go for our scheduled walk, preceded by an unwelcome swim across the Manning River to access our walk.  Poor planning I’d say!!
It was quite good though, Luke promised it would be, maybe he was right!!  A walk to the Manning River Falls, over rocks and though creeks to the most divine waterhole so far.  Jumped in and swam over to the waterfall and you could almost touch the rainbows coming from the water spray.  Luke located a red necked turtle and we could see black bream in the water.  Got a good look at some ancient Aboriginal art before doing it all over again to get back to the camp site.  A long drive along the last of the gravel section (about 600kms) of the Gibb River Road to get to our camp site at ElQuestro for a two night stay, any possibility of sleeping in tomorrow?? Luke says no!!

Early morning Manning River

You might even see it as you are walking along. Keep an eye out for them as they are out there somewhere :)
